TECHNICAL ANALYSIS INSTITUTE

Learn Technical Analysis Properly. From the Beginning.

TAI College is a complete, structured education in technical analysis designed to take you from the foundations of reading a market to the way a serious analyst studies evidence, builds a market view, tests alternatives and works with probability.om an almost endless number of market possibilities to a smaller handful of probabilities — and then build a disciplined forecast around those probabilities.

The College is free.

Not a trial. Not a handful of introductory lessons. Not a stripped-down course designed to make you pay before the important material begins.

Enroll free and begin your education today.

This is not another collection of trading videos.

Technical analysis is too large a discipline to be learned through random videos, isolated indicators or a catalogue of patterns.

TAI College is organized as a curriculum. Each subject is introduced in sequence, explained from first principles, shown visually, tested against its limitations and connected to professional market analysis.

You begin with what technical analysis actually is. Then you learn how market data becomes charts, how price and trend are studied, how patterns and indicators should be interpreted, how evidence can conflict, and how an analyst decides what the market is most likely to do next.

The objective is not to teach you more jargon. The objective is to develop a technical analyst.

HOW TAI COLLEGE TEACHES

Every major tool or technique is taught through the same professional questions:

What is it?

How is it constructed?

What does it actually measure or represent?

What can it tell us?

What can it NOT tell us?

In what market context does it become useful?

When does it become unreliable or misleading?

How should it interact with other evidence?

What would prove the analysis wrong?

When does an analysis become actionable — and when should you do nothing?

Charts and examples are used whenever visual understanding is required. Successes are not shown without failures. Definitions are not treated as competence. And unfamiliar terminology is explained before it is used.

YOUR LEARNING JOURNEY

The curriculum is deliberately chronological. You do not need previous technical-analysis knowledge. You begin at the foundation and progress toward integration and professional application.

STAGE I — FOUNDATIONS

Understand what technical analysis is, how markets and price data become charts, and how analysts describe price, trend and structure.

STAGE II — PRICE & PATTERN

Learn charting systems, candlesticks, support and resistance, breakouts, retracements, classical patterns, gaps and price behavior.

STAGE III — TREND, MOMENTUM, VOLUME & VOLATILITY

Develop fluency with moving averages, trend-strength tools, oscillators, RSI, Stochastics, MACD, ADX/DMI, volume, breadth, open interest and volatility.

STAGE IV — ADVANCED ANALYTICAL FRAMEWORKS

Study Fibonacci, cycles, Ichimoku, relative strength, intermarket and cross-asset relationships, statistics, testing and systematic thinking.

STAGE V — INTEGRATION & PROFESSIONAL APPLICATION

Combine evidence across timeframes, deal with conflicting signals, construct strategies, time entries, manage trades and communicate a market view.

STAGE VI — BRIDGE TO PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT

Build foundations in risk, money management, psychology, ethics and analyst practice, and understand the pathways available for deeper professional development and specialist study.

25 MAJOR MODULES

TAI College is designed as a broad body of technical-analysis education, not a short beginner course. The current master architecture contains 25 major modules and more than 200 potential learning units.

The Work of a Technical Analyst

IMPLEMENTATION NOTE: A collapsible/accordion curriculum works well here. Show the 25 module titles immediately; allow visitors to expand modules later as detailed lesson lists become available. Do not fabricate unfinished lesson titles.

WHY IS AN EDUCATION THIS LARGE FREE?

Because core knowledge should not need to be crippled in order to create value.

The Technical Analysis Institute is being built on a different idea: teach the foundations generously and professionally, then let deeper value come from experiences that a library of information cannot replace.

Live forecasting.

Personal correction.

Professional assessment.

Certification.

Continuing development.

Recurring market intelligence.

Specialist mastery.

Those are different forms of value. They do not require us to leave a beginner deliberately uninformed.

If a subject belongs in a serious core education in technical analysis, our default is to teach it properly.

WHO TAI COLLEGE IS FOR

TAI College is for you if you:

Are completely new to technical analysis and want to begin correctly rather than collect random techniques.

Already trade but realize that indicators and patterns alone have not given you a coherent analytical process.

Have learned from YouTube, books or courses and want to organize fragmented knowledge into a structured framework.

Want to understand what tools actually measure, not merely memorize buy and sell signals.

Want to develop the ability to form, challenge and communicate a professional market view.

Are pursuing a serious path in trading, market analysis or technical-analysis education and want a broad foundation.

You do not need to want to become a professional trader to belong here. You do need to be willing to learn the discipline seriously.

THE WAY A PROFESSIONAL ANALYST THINKS

Technical analysis does not remove uncertainty from markets. It gives us a disciplined way to work inside uncertainty.

Students learn to move away from the question “How can I be right?” and toward better questions:

What evidence do I actually have?

What is the most likely interpretation?

What are the credible alternatives?

How confident should I be?

What evidence would invalidate my view?

Is this market analyzable but not tradable?

Do I have enough evidence to have an opinion at all?

The objective isn't to eliminate judgment from technical analysis. The objective is to develop better judgment.

TAUGHT UNDER THE DIRECTION OF PROF. ALDO LAGRUTTA

TAI College is built under the educational direction of Prof. Aldo Lagrutta, founder of the Technical Analysis Institute.

For nearly three decades, his work has centered on technical analysis, market forecasting, Elliott Wave, professional judgment and the education of traders and analysts.

His teaching standard is simple: if a student hears a term he does not understand, part of the lesson has already been lost. Concepts therefore need to be explained clearly, visually and completely enough that the student can use them rather than merely recognize the vocabulary.

The College is being built around that standard: serious enough for the advanced learner, understandable enough for the intelligent beginner.

NOTE: Use only credentials/awards already verified on the institutional About page. Do not add new credential claims from memory.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes. The public-core TAI College curriculum is offered without tuition. No credit card is required to create your College account.

No. The curriculum begins with the foundations and is designed to progress in sequence. Experienced learners can also use the structure to identify gaps and deepen areas they previously learned only superficially.

No. Some College lessons may also be publicly available as part of the Technical Analysis Institute's media and educational work, but TAI College is the structured learning environment: curriculum order, modules, progression and the student's continuing place inside the Institute.

There is no artificial completion deadline. The curriculum is extensive and lessons are released when they meet the Institute's pedagogical and production standard. Students study at their own pace.

The College includes strategy, timing and trade-management foundations, but strategies are taught inside a broader analytical framework. The objective is not to hand you isolated setups; it is to help you understand how evidence becomes analysis and how analysis becomes a decision.

Elliott Wave is part of the technical-analysis body of knowledge and therefore receives a foundation inside TAI College. Complete Elliott Wave mastery, deep counting practice, assignments and personal correction belong to the Institute's specialist pathway.

TAI College is the Institute's free educational foundation. Professional assessment, credentialing and certification are separate from the free College curriculum.

No. TAI College is a private professional education program of the Technical Analysis Institute. It is not a state-recognized university or Hochschule and does not award academic degrees.

You Do Not Need Another Trading Trick.
